It's already 2002. Happy New Year! New beginnings... New challenges... A new Thunderbird out on the open road... And the 2002 CTCI International Convention is just around the corner! The CTCI International Convention and Concours d'Elegance for 2002 is being hosted by the New Jersey Open Road Thunderbird Club. The Convention will be held at the Parsippany Hilton in Parsippany, New Jersey. An International Convention is always a big deal, but this one will be the first in Region 1 -- the first in the Northeast. And we're pulling out all the stops! And speaking of "Firsts"...
If you haven't been to an International Convention before, you'll be awed by the number of cars and their variety. From the impeccable Gold Medallion winner, to the "nice driver", to the "diamond in the rough". From a meticulously original Excellence in Authenticity Award winner to that yellow '55 with a surprise under the hood. But cars are not required to participate in the Convention. Many people come to these shows without cars -- just to have fun, meet some nice people, and enjoy all the beautiful classic T-Birds (without all that cleaning). So get your car ready if you have one. If you don't (presently) have one, make your plans now to come anyway! There are a wide variety of events scheduled for the days and evenings throughout the Convention. Please register early to reserve your place. All activities are First Come, First Serve!
